What Can I do To Help?

We are a volunteer run, community based, not for profit judo club. Without volunteers within our Sport we would not be able to Provide The awesome experience that is Judo.

​If you are a player, parent, spectator or relative there is an abundance of roles you could help Respect Judo and the British Judo Association with. 

Within Respect Judo

  • Coaching

  • Club Welfare Officer

  • First Aider

  • Mat layer

  • Registration

  • Stock manager

  • Competitions officer

  • Event organiser

  • Web administrator

  • Press officer

  • Funding officer​

At Competitions in the Area

​Pre-event activities may include:

  • Competition administration

  • Sourcing equipment

  • Venue set-up

  • Food preparation

  • Meet and greet

​

While on the day people may be required to:

  • Supervise the car park

  • Sell refreshments

  • Collect entrance fees

  • Act as stewards

  • Part of the medal and other ceremonies

​

If you feel like any of these roles would be up your street, Don't hesitate to get in touch and the club will assist you with funding and training where possible.

  • Referee

  • Timekeeper

  • Contest recorder

  • Senior Recorder

  • Competition Controller
