Xmas fun day 2023
Another close to a fantastic year at respect judo. Today saw 28 kids from respect judo, Bearpark judo and kodokwai judo club come together for 4 hours of fun, games, friendly contest, timekeeping, refereeing and more.
Well done to all the adults who had a fun forbidden judo session followed by a friendly contest to help us trial smoothcomps software. I think we can all agree it was smooth and we fired through 20 contests in under an hour. Finished the day with a short bit of randori and a huge Buffett.
I would like to thank the Bearpark older kids and our older kids for coming and helping with both parts of today. And thank you to Dave from kodokwai for helping Chris referee our seniors.
Final thank you to everyone involved with helping respect judo run, from mat layers to coaches to welfare officers to admin.
Happy new year and we will see you all on the 2nd January when we reopen.
